Schloss Belvedere - Vienna Austria
The Lower Belvedere was commissioned to chief architect Johann Lukas von Hildebrandt, a renowned Austrian architect who had studied architecture in Rome under-celebrated Italian architect Carlo Fontana.
Schloss Belvedere is a baroque palace. There is a lower Belvedere and a upper Belvedere. The upper Belvedere houses one of Austria's most valuable art collections.
The Lower Belvedere Palace is an 18th-century complex and architectural jewel. Schloss Belvedere is known for its outstanding architecture.
